After over a year of thinking monsters with the good people at S&S… last month, finally, I finished the artwork on a pop up book called Monster House.
Here’s a pic of some of the detail from the dummy and a couple of the press-out pieces. The rest is a secret until the Autumn when it is published. But, you can pre-order here if you do so wish!

I am hosting a monster theme party for my Son’s 6th birthday & his last big party for the whole class. Having completely engrossed myself in the theme making monster tooth pillows, & anything associated with cute looking monsters, I suddenly thought I am missing a good story full of amazing images to keep the little ones silent & still during their feeding time. Having searched the web over the last week, I suddenly stumbled on the Monster House and its amazing vibrant colours & pop up monsters. I would like to say thank you for this creation & the fact that they are still very very cute. Monsters do not necessarily mean gore and this book from what I have seen so far allows the children to enjoy the innocents of their youth. There is no hurry in them growing up. Long may your creations remain so humble. They really are beautiful. Thank you.
